The kids both had a day off of school in October. So we drove up to Leavenworth for the day with my parents. It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining and there was no need for a jacket. Leavenworth is a cute little Bavarian village up in the mountains. www.leavenworth.org. Cute little stores filled with nutcrackers and other treats. It would be a great place to visit in the snow.
